Gua Sha

This has been used for thousands of years and is an invaluable tool for the relief of pain, restricted movement and illnesses such as respiratory and digestive issues in fact anything where there is pain or discomfort.

Gua means to either rub or press stroke and the Sha means the description of the blood congestion which appears on the surface of the skin when Gua Sha has been applied. These red marks are a good sign that the treatment is working.

Gua Sha is applied to lubricated skin and a press stroking action is applied to the area where the problems is.  Gua sha has numerous benefits and can be excellent for relieving spasms and pain.  It works by promoting normal circulation to the area such as muscles, tissues and organs.
